Developed a sensing device mounted on a drone to send live landfill data about harmful methane emissions online:

Lightweight Drone Framework: Designed a drone with Electronic Speed Controllers, Flight Controller, Radiotransmitter, and a 2200 mAh battery to support airborne sensing.

Sensor Box: Engineered an optimized system using MQ-4, MQ-135, and MQ-7 gas sensors, via Raspberry Pi & MCP3008, enabling detection of methane, carbon monoxide, & sulfur.

Endorsed by 5+ major landfills across India, including Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation & Faridabad Municipal Corporation.





Methane Reduction Research

Published a research paper titled “Mitigation of Methane Emissions from Domestic Waste Through Overlaying Method: A Research Investigation”
-
Conducted experiments to reduce methane emissions from waste using an overlay approach.

Evaluated the effectiveness of materials such as sodium sulfate, zeolite, compost, and biochar, with zeolite reducing emissions by over 10%, proving most efficient.

Awarded the CREST Gold Award for contributions to STEM research .

Presented findings at the Innosphere Conference 2025, organized by SigmaXi

Designed a multi-stage greywater filtration system using gravel, sand, activated charcoal, coarse mesh, and zeolite.
